...then I'd go get drunk out of my mind tonight.
Since I'm not, I think I'm going to go eat a piece of cheesecake and completely screw with my blood chemistry for a few hours anyway, just in a non-alcoholic form...
I'm not even going to get started on this week at work. I'm counting the seconds until the end of work tomorrow when I hope I'll get a three day weekend, though... unless the Project From Hell manages to eat my weekend too... @_@
want turtle cheesecake...

Hope you feel better, Risu-chan! Cheesecake...mmmmmmmmmm...
I wish Hong Kong celebrated July 4. ;___; I want to see fireworks, but the only fireworks we have are on October 1, and I'll be in the U.S. by then. But come July 4 in the U.S. next year, I'll probably be back in Hong Kong again for summer, and then U.S. for October, and then....I'M NEVER GOING TO SEE FIREWORKS FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS!!! ;_____;
Plus, I like dressing up. When I was in summer school for July 4th last year, I got all patriotic with my clothing. Fun fun fun. (I'm still a U.S. Citizen! ^^)

Ahem.
Where do I start? with all the websites that have suddenly decided to hate me: hotmail is being slow and wont let me into my inbox half the time. Pitas.com was earlier refusing to let me fiddle with my blog. Unfortunately, I /am/ the drinking type, so by the time it decided to work, I'd had plenty of time to get utterly sozzled. Result being I have just deleted my blog layout. So I'm trying to make a new one. Not as easy as it sounds, because lunarpages, my domain host is being an arse. As usual. For no apparent reason, comment fields on my friends blogs have been flinging my carefully crafted witicisms off into the ether, today.
Having returned home reasonably inspired from the mediterranean (though minus a louis vuitton handbag), I'm now out of work and broke (cant buy paint/canvas etc, cant paint, cant sell any paintings either) and my mother has suddenly decided I ought to get a Real Job and keeps going on at me about it.
For two days there has been no hot water and only intermittent cold, because my boiler broke down. The shower from one of the bathrooms is leaking water through the dining room ceiling. Yesterday a chunk of the wall just fell off.
I'm out of pills. Which I need to take daily. I am in prozac withdrawl. I owe people money.
Hmm, anything else?
Oh yeah, and I broke a nail today.
Bugger chesecake. I'm going to get well and truly shitfaced. Dont wait up.
Thankyou and goodnight.

Wow. And I thought working 11 hrs a day in a freezing cold office with leaking orifices on my face is bad enough.(My eyes are watering from lack of sleep and staring too long at the computer screen while my nose is protesting the cold draught - bad case of sinusitis)

sorry to hear about that, Tsukiyama!

...hey... you're doing original artwork right? Have you thought about making prints of 'em (or T-shirts) and selling 'em online?
If you can get your pictures into approx. 300-600 DPI 8.5x11 images with a scanner or digital camera or something, you can set up your own store on CafePress.com and sell your own T-shirts, mugs, etc. as a fundraiser for the materials. And since CafePress does the printing, you get to keep your materials for your new projects...
if anybody wants to see examples of what I'm talking about with how CafePress.com does things:
http://www.cafepress.com/doujinshirts/
http://www.cafepress.com/jac_uiuc/
(those are the only two I know off the top of my head since I run the JAC site and designed the other myself, but I DO know that most of Megatokyo's operating budget comes from merchandise sales they make through CafePress.com...)

O_o'
Imagine seeing someone around in your artwork!! Wow.
Btw, sorry, TSUKIYAMA(Hope I got it right this time.) Somehow, I keep getting ur name wrong. First I called you takamiya yest, than today I realised it was wrong on rereading, edited it, and it became tsukiyami instead...so sorry. ^^
I admit it, I'm a gigantic blood-sucking sotong.

Bitter, irrational, moi? surely not.
Ahem.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, folks. My computer is still behaving in a very disturbing way, but I'm sure I'll figure out how to make it go sooner or later.
As for the cafe press idea, I'm pretty tempted. A lot of my stuff is adult, involving bestiality and disgust (lets hear it for cheap shock! XD) but there is some more sellable stuff in the works at the moment. Thanks for that Risu! And the smileys are yours? Nice one!
(Are you leading a secret double life or something, though? - by day, hanging around a boyslove scanlations site and translating gothic victorian mysteries. By night! watching sailormoon and ranma! Shocking.)
Kinna, no worries. It's my middle name anyway, I only use it sometimes for variety. Mainly people call me Kat. (or Dolores, dont ask...)

heh... I wish I was living ONLY a secret double life. ^^;;;
More like "technical writer by day; translator of gothic Lolita manga, costume design and history instructor, graphic designer, anime fan, author, and wannabe manga artist by night"...
And I watched Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network with the sound turned off, so that I could see how animation went together (you've gotta admit they have a really low frame rate per second) without having to suffer through the series itself. Had quite an entertaining time MST3K/fan parody dubbing it to myself too... ^^;;;
